Amy Nelson is a certified Life Coach specializing in empowering her clients to awaken, claim their power and self-worth, and create their lives in congruence with their passions, values, and life purpose.
While laying in bed one night, during a period she felt particularly lost and disconnected, she prayed for answers as to why she is here and what her purpose is. Through her dreams she vividly heard, "you are here to help others shine their light." As soon as she woke, she wrote down the message knowing at some point it would begin to make sense.
Through numerous hours of specialized study, client interactions and from her own life experiences, she has guided many clients to take back control of their lives through consciously being aware of the power of their thoughts and the integral role they play in co-creating their lives.
Amy does not believe that anyone needs to be "fixed" but instead views everyone as whole, healthy, and complete, just as they are. Her work is facilitated by being a mirror for her clients to view the beautiful depth of light that emanates from within them.
It excites Amy to help empower others in reconnecting to their true essence and authenticity for this is where their beautiful light emanates. She believes that from this place of alignment we can achieve a life of balance, ease, abundance, well-being, purpose, and immeasurable joy.
Aside from Life Coaching, Amy is a Certified Biofeedback Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher and loves immersing herself in anything related to energy medicine, health, and wellness.
Amy recently moved to Wisconsin and her Midwest roots after living in Colorado for many years. The simplicity and richness that comes from living in the Midwest nourishes her soul. When she feels most present and vital you will find her spending time with family and friends, tending her organic garden, hiking, biking, playing on and in the water, yoga, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, reading thought provoking books, listening to the birds sing, sipping sustainably sourced wine, and cooking fresh, organic meals.
Amy is blessed with a supportive, loving husband and their eight year-old daughter who steadily remind her to laugh, love unconditionally, live present, and not take life so seriously.
